Thread: The worst movies you've seen

  1. The worst movies you've seen

I rented Mortal Kombat Annihilation 2 days ago from hollywood video. And let me tell you the movie sucked. There was so many unanswered questions like what happen to Kaball and Striker, where did Sub-zero go?
What happen nightwolf or whatever his name is after he taught Kang? The only decent part about the movie is the fight scences.

I would like a list or just some movies that you feel are the worst movies ever made. Don't forget to say why they are bad.

That's like saying you ordered a steak and it sucked because it couldn't hold a conversation with you, didn't hang your coat, and wouldn't help out with the bill. The only good part about the steak was when you ate it.

I don't know what you were expecting out of a Mortal Kombat movie beyond fighting.

  3. Men in Black 2. I like just about every movie I see and I was pissed I spent money to see this in theatres. I hated everything about it. The story was stupid, you barely saw that chick who was the antagonist, johnny knoxvilles character was totally useless, tommy lee jones should have been left out (they just had to bring him back!). Will Smith was...Will Smith, a lot of the effects looked terrible and for a comedy, it wasn't funny at all. I can't understand how the crowd I saw it with thought it was funny. Every part worth seeing, was in the commercials. Oh and the ending fucking sucked. Stupid as shit. And the "aliens rule the world" ending (as seen in the first one where our universe is a marble that's being played with by an alien) they used in this one makes no fucking sense whatsoever.

    Damn that shit sucked.

Another one is In The Company of Men. It was such a depressing movie I could never watch it again. I will give it high marks for acting though. But thinking about it now, I have no idea who was in it. I don't think I've ever seen those people in another movie since.

  4. Being a fan of horror, I've watched more than my share of "bad" films, but usually most movies have some sort of value - even if it's only to be mocked by me and my friends.

That said, I've seen a few that have been literally offensive:

Company Man - Truly, appallingly bad, with no redeeming qualities except the ending credits. It's so bad, you can't even laugh at it. I even hated Sigourney Weaver, who's a personal favorite actress. I honestly believe this is THE worst film ever made in human history. I saw it in the theater with some friends, and the only reason we stayed till the end was we could not believe that the movie was so fucking awful. I recommend it as an Xmas gift to your very worst enemy.

Resident Evil - Paul Anderson should be tortured to death slowly for this debacle. Nothing about it was good...well, except the preview posters.

Exorcist II: The Heretic - Well, to be honest, there is ONE good thing about it - the French dude who says "Zee bodyyy was neverre found." Other than that, pure 100% garbage. The filmmakers must have hypnotized or blackmailed William Blatty.

Coneheads - At least I think that's the title; starred Jerry Lewis I think.....or was it Dan Aykroyd......actually my memory has mercifully erased most of it, except I do remember is the only time I actually asked for my money back.

Halloween III: Season of the Witch - Silver Shamrock? What in the hell was this heap of mung????

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace - George Lucas really hates you, and this is proof.

    Satoshi Kon: 1963-2010

  5. There have been a lot of horrible films I' ve been tortured with over the course of my young life.

One that comes to mind is 'Ghosts of Mars'.

  6. Heh, I actually liked Resident Evil enough to buy the DVD.

As for the worst movie I've ever seen......I don't specifically know what it is, but I'm sure it's one of the several late night softcore Cinemax movies I sat through as a kid in the pre-internet days in the hopes of seeing a boob.

The first installment had better storyline, script and was "organized" well. The sequel had the exact opposite of those characteristics. Bottum line, the movie was bad. I was also expecting the same characteristics from the first installment in the sequel.

  8. The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension

Now I like cheesy 80's B sci fi flicks but this one is just horrible. I had to force myself to sit through all of it, I fell asleep twice and it was only a couple of hours after I woke up for the day. Lithgow was even horrible in it and I love him in almost everything.

I'd even put Buckaroo Banzai behind (as in even worse) all those I've ever seen.

  9. A guy from work brought Jason X dvd for me to watch one night. WORST SHIT EVER!
    Xbox Live- SamuraiMoogle

  10. Im not gonna list any MST3K movies.

Jack Frost - Michael Keaton stars as a rocking blues dad with a great piece of ass wife and a kid who wants to learn hockey. On Christmas Eve dad promises to teach him the new hockey move of the century but he has to go to a show in Bumfuck Mountain, Colorado. He dies along the way. But he reappears as a snowman, teaches his son the hockey move, and helps his son outrace a bunch of Olympic gold medal skiiers down a dangerous mountain.

    Yea.

Jaws: The Revenge - The shark remembers who killed it in past movies, and goes after the families! This movie is hilarious in so many ways - like when Michael Caine's boat gets dragged under the water, but comes out perfectly dry.

The Thomas Crown Affair - Rene Russo is a fucking bitch and Pierce Brosnan is a pompous ass. They both suck in this movie and well... there is nothing good about this movie. It's really shitty.

The Goonies - like I said in the favorite movies thread... if you are listing the movie as one of your favorites because you liked it when you were a kid... watch it again. I watched it again maybe 3 years ago. The movie is seriously 2 hours of a bunch of brats yelling at each other. It gave me a headache. I couldn't stand it.
