Conan had a nice farewell on Friday. Too bad I never got to see him in Rockefeller.

Yeah Conan is the best late night host and I hope he doesn't have to cut back too much on who he is when he starts the Late night show. My co-worker and I have had discussions though about the Jimmy Falon show, he points out that Conan sucked his first two years and became better so Jimmy deserves a shot.

I wish Richter would just come back, it's not like his career is going anywhere. He could be the Ed to Coney's Johnny on the Tonight Show, it'd be perfect!

Conan has backed every one of Richters endeavors since he left. Richter could very well be Conan's Ed.

THat'd be awesome if Richter came back as sidekick. I never understood why late night shows dont have sidekicks anymore. IMO, they tend to make the interviews flow better, be more relaxed and funnier. Plus you have another person to do a bit with or play straight man, etc.

But I'm going to be watching Fallon. Lorne picked Conan cause he saw something in him, so I'll trust he saw something in Fallon too. Plus, Fallon is making all the right moves for me (even having Kevin Rose/Alex Albrecht from Diggnation on the show) so we'll see if he can't make it something unique and his own.

I've been one to hate of Fallon too, but I'll give him a fair shake. He's got The Roots as house band, so that's a one in the plus column at the start.
