there's a chance *if* a canadian channel picks up broadcast rights to his show, but I'm not holding my breath for anything on the cable service since short of the american broadcast networks, cnn and spike tv, all of our channels are specialty canadian ones
I do get E! over QAM though, so maybe they'll pick it up... if not fuck it I'll just download the show like I have to do with every other american show I watch that won't be picked up for years on our channels

This is bad. What happened to Fox? Conan will languish in obscurity on TBS. He'll never be able to seriously take on Leno from there.
He doesn't really need to... If he can get better numbers for TBS in that slot then that's what will really count.

Maybe Conan didn't want his career to be defined as "THE GUY TAKING OUT LENO!" And just wants to be able to put on the best show possible and have a good time doing it? Conan's last words were not to be cynical, life rarely goes according to plan, and be nice and see what happens. Classy guy.

So now the question is does Conan turn "beating Leno" into some sort of white whale or does he figure out the best way to cater to his audience and have a good career? He seems to have decided on the latter.
Yep. I don't think Conan gives a shit about NBC or Leno or huge ratings anymore. If he lives out the rest of his career on TBS making masterbating bear jokes and keeping his sweet pimp Taurus SHO filled with gas... he will be happy, and that's really what he wants, to have fun on Television.

Not like the guy has to worry about money at this point either.

I guess there's no photography restrictions at the shows (which makes sense if you think about it, since he's not owned by a network so there's no IP problems to address + instant exposure to those of us unlucky enough to not be able to attend the shows)
also I love that it's oldschool funny conan and not watered down 11:30 conan

Photos from Conan's latest show. Jim Carrey showed up in a full Kick-Ass costume.
