Thread: Kabuki Quantum Fighter vs Shadow of the Ninja

Batman was made by a different developer so there doesn't seem to be any connection. Maybe they looked at Batman when they were developing it and copied a few things.

After finding it in the washroom and playing it for a little bit, I can see how somebody could not like it.

Must pick up Shatterhand. Is it any better than Street Fighter 2010?

    Nice avatar Mzo!

I would definitely say it's better than SF: 2010, which I also liked. I imagine Shatterhand is a little hard to find today though.

Without a doubt. It's an awesome game... one of my favorite NES games. The Japanese version is called Tokkyuu Shirei Solbrain, and it's the same game, but the hero is some kind of costumed robot-y superhero... looks kinda like a member of the VR Troopers cast. Kinda cool, but like I said... same game. Doesn't really matter, both are plenty of fun.

Whoa, just did some research... apparently I'm not far off. Live action TV show! Still looks like a member of the VR Troopers cast! http://www.cybergecko.com/solbrain.htm

    Crazy.

  5. Thanks for the opinions fellas. My local gaming establishment has a few sealed copies of Shatterhand for $10 cdn. I'll pick it up later today.

  6. Street Fighter 2010 needs a GBA port. Fo' real son

    I recommend that you do.

I agree that KQF has some quirky music (which kept me from really getting into it) even though it play pretty well.

*must get music from the first level of SOTNinja out of my head*

OMG, it was such trash. I finally bought a cheap complete copy for $1.99.

I think I paid too much for it. I'm certainly glad I didn't rent it way back when.

    BTW, SF2010 is good...hard....but good.

Q: What did you guys think of Vice: Project Doom? I don't remember if I really liked it or not, it must have been okay, it's doesn't seem to be on my "avoid like the plague" list.

  9. Vice: Project Doom eh? It's more or less a Ninja Gaiden clone with different weapons (you switch between them like Batman), no wall climbing, and some interesting boss battles. The story is not so good. Decent enough game and should waste and hour or two of your time.

On a sidenote, I must have really bad taste or high on crack due to my liking of Ninja Crusaders.

I give the vote to Kabuki Quantum Fighter. So many memories attached to that game
