Kabuki Quantum Fighter vs Shadow of the Ninja

For Batman: ROTJ on NES/Genny, there were two differences that stood right out - 1, while the NES version was called "Return of the Joker", the Genny rev was called "REVENGE of the Joker". Also, while the NES had the dark, gritty Batman movie centered-sprites, the Genny had the cartoony blue cape/grey "superfriends-esque" spandex Batman, which really took away from the Dark-Knight feel and "grittiness" of the NES game.

The level design on both versions were the same, while once again, the bosses were redrawn.

Basically, on the Genny, it just looks and feels too goofy for it's own good, which appears to kill everything that Sunsoft went for when they first designed it - it's hard to describe, but things just don't "mix" too well on the Genny version. I stand by the NES version if you plan to track it down (which I think you should).

The Power Blade games were decent rentals back then but I never thought they were good enough to buy. Pretty generic stuff.

I got Shatterhand like 2 summers ago and have been singing its praises ever since. The game is so damn good, I just love mix and matching the powers to create the helper characters. And it has some of the best graphics on the NES. I just love the visual style of the games mentioned in this thread.

Another game which I have not played since I was in elementary school was called "The Legend of Kick Master" I rented it and just loved it. I really need to pick it up if I see it again because I remeber it being really cool because your only weapon was a variety of kicks.

The NES is still the greatest system of all time in my mind.
