That sucks, dude, I always flew home for Thanksgiving.
Is that someone else a chick? Get some wine for the dinner (and some for after). If she's down about not being home with her family, too, you could tap that, easy.
Im far far away from my family and basically Im stranded here for Thanksgiving. Luckily though someone else is here to share the holiday with so we are probably gonna go out to dinner on Thursday. Any of you ever did that? Whats a good place to go to eat some thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant? Im looking at MSN CityGuide but all the places are like... Hotel Bel-Air Dining Room and shit. Super expensive places that I obviously dont want to pay for (or can afford).
Also you can share your thanksgiving away from home stories. This is the first one Im not gonna share with my family so...

Looks like a Hungryman Thanksgiving for you then huh?! On the serious side, I'd say go buy some stuff from Boston Market, Thanksgiving in a box isn't bad if it's all you got going.
Ooh, Boston Market is delicious. MAKE SURE you get some cornbread.

They set up a huge buffet with tables full of chefs carving turkeys, lots of fixins, ice sculptures, and other fancy stuff. It was always really good, many people's families would actually come visit and eat dinner there instead of everyone going home.
As for you, unless you buy something ahead of time you'll probably be stuck eating chinese food.
Shit if I knew that, I never ate them. I was going to put Chitlans in but I so don't know how to spell that...Originally Posted by JMET
