Thread: A question regarding flash files

  1. A question regarding flash files

I just downloaded a file called ScreenSwift that lets me use any flash file I have as a screensaver.

I want to use a particular Strongbad cartoon as my file, but I don't see any way to save it from the website.

    Help!

  2. Look in your temporary internet files after viewing it on the website. It should be there somewhere. When you find it, copy it to wherever you want it to go.

Where did you find this ScreenSwift thingy? Link please...

  3. A Weekend Pussy Hunt screensaver? Sign me up.

  4. Or, if that doesn't work, here is another way to do it is this.

1: Go to website with Flash file that you want
    2: Look at the source
3: Find the full URL for the Flash file
4: Take a simple HTML file, make that URL a link in it
    5: Open in web browser
6: Contextual menu -> "Save link target" or whatever wording your web browser of choice uses

  5. I didn't know you needed a program to use flash files as screen savers. I thought if you had I.E. 4+ you could have animated wall paper and screen savers.

I thought about making screen savers a loooong time ago in flash, but never got around to doing it.

  6. Thanks for the help gentlemen.
