Thread: Bad Santa

  1. Bad Santa

I could have sworn I saw a thread for this movie here but I can't find it now...oh, well.

Saw it last night. Billy Bob Thorton rules. Thought the first half was hilarious but it slowed down about half-way through. Of course thay had to have him turn good and do something nice at the end...

    A wooden pickle...?!? WTF?

Oh, and Bernie Mac has sucked in every single movie I've ever seen him in. I don't see why people think this asshole is funny. He's not. At all.

  2. I wanted to see this. When I was working for the sneak preview of The Last Samurai, I went to work from 3pm-12am even tho TLS started at 7pm. I saw some of Bad Santa..it was funny. Too bad I didnt see all of it. I kept going back and forth from Bad Santa, and Looney Toones

  3. There was a preview for a Ben Stiller movie before Bad Santa that looked awesome. There was this scene where Stiller's playing hoops with this fat, hairy, sweaty guy. The guy goes for a shot, Stiller jumps to block it, and goes face-first into his sweaty, hairy stomach, and then (in slo-mo) his face slides up the guy's gut and chest as he comes down from his jump. The entire crowd almost pissed themselves laughing.

  4. Talked to my friend about this film today. He told me about some of the weird stuff in it, especially a wooden pickle painted red with blood and pink elephant with bullet holes and blood at the end

I will definately will see it on dvd.

Good to see dark and adult humored film to be released during the holiday season. It would make a great Elf - Bad Santa double feature

I seen that preview before Revolutions, and while some of the gags in it werent all that funny, to Basketball scene was hillarious.

O yea, I saw that as well..that part with the bball is hilarious. I want to see it. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of it.

I was walking back and forth in the movie theater and there was one scene where Santa was fucking a fat chick (?) in the dressing room. When I saw that, I looked further in to see if there was any kids in there..

Also, was that John Ritter's last movie before his passing?

  6. I'll go this, but I fear it may be one of those "holiday vehicle" movies. From what I've heard, that's exactly what it is.

Yeah, he was doing the fat chick in the ass. You could hear him telling the her "you won't shit straight for a week!!".

I was dissapointed though. With all the other shit they did in that movie, there was no nudity at all.

Man, how hot was that 18-year-old playing pinball with Billy Bob?

Actually, I think he died while he was filming it. Didn't you notice that his character just dissapeared at one point and wasn't seen for the rest of the movie?

The movie's Along Came Polly. I've seen the trailer twice and I laughed each time at the bathroom/no toilet paper scene.

He also told that fat chick that was sitting in front of his motel..telling him that she couldnt shit straight.

Unfortunately, I didnt see the 18 yr old nor John Ritter disappearing. Like I said..I only saw a few mins of it inbetween. But arent these movies finished about 2-6 months before its released? Cuz they have to edit/revise it or do whatever to the film?

He died while filming the second season for 8 Simple Rules, so I would have imagined he'd been done with the movie by that point, since he just died about 2-3 months ago.
