Thread: The lost Hebereke game.

  1. The lost Hebereke game.

One of the most obscure NG games is also the only Hebereke game besides Popoon for the arcade market. Hebereke no Pair Pair Wars was not the first MVS puzzle game which didn't get a release date, it seems it won't be the last one, either. Aiky's Potchi to Nyaa has been cancelled for the moment.

Sorry, no more info. Never played or saw it. But some "know-it-all" people don't want more wasteful threads about "familiar" games.

Edit: Removed the NGCD icon. This game was never going to be a NGCD. Why these boards doesn't have a generic Neo-Geo icon? Or they didn't even realize?

When I first glanced at the title I thought it said "the lost Heineke game"

    Oops.

  4. Recap, the Neo Geo CD icon is close enough. I guess the Admins didn't want to clutter it up with too many icons. They could switch it though if they wanted.

The game looks like a variation of Shanghai from that screenshot on the poster. I wonder who has the proto cart...

Aside from the idiotic scanlines thing and your odd preference for Japanese games even though there are western versions of some of the games you profile and alot of people here would know of them , you catch way too much hell for what you do. Keep posting about whatever strikes your fancy -- it's all usually more informative than any other info most of us would have found otherwise.

As for the icon thing, we have a Feedback & Suggestion board. Please post such things there and the admins may look into it.

  7. So what's the significance of a Hebereke?

From Google I see that there are games for SNES, NES, PS, Saturn, and I see here almost NeoGeo; does a Hebereke have some kind of background besides videogames?

He's just a character Sunsoft made many games about. He's sort of their mascot.

  9. did any hebereke games make it to the US?

  10. I don't think so. I only know of the first game coming out in Europe as Uforia on the NES.
