    No one can fake that amount of overly verbose postings, inflated self-worth, worthless posts and general smarminess like the master.

    I've been shocked by a lightning bolt. It didn't strike me, but it struck only feet away from me and my brother, and we both got jolted from it.

    The summer before I went to college, when I was away at Orientation Day, a tornado hit our farm and hometown, wrecking nearly everything. Quite frankly, the only thing that survived that storm was our house, the barn (though it required extensive repair), and one shed. Figures the tornado would wait for the ONE day that summer I wouldn't be home, eh?

    Later that summer, on the day I moved off to college, we had a huge storm that knocked down that LAST REMANING SHED we had.

    One time, a friend and I were waiting at the Taco Bell drive-through. The van in front of us got bored or something, because they went full reverse and hit us. We got out of the car and started arguing, when this other car with tinted windows pulls up. The driver side window rolls down, and we all divert our attention to the driver, who is holding an unmarked cardboard box. Then he says "Yo, you guys want to buy a cellphone?"

    It was a very WTF moment.

  7. I don't think the people that dislike me are the majority. Yes, there is a large number of people that said, "We don't like your kind around here" before I even got a chance to say much of anything simply because they thought I hung out with a poster that got banned. The guy from Opa Age.

    A few others are just very eletist and hopped on the band waggon. However, my thread, "Breathtaking Iceland" got positive responses and everyone enjoyed the pictures.

    I really don't see how this can be called, "worthless".

    Anyway, lightning is interesting. I've never been struck by lightning although we did see some get pretty close when we hiked the Grand Canyon. All the other hikers were hiding under the rocks on the side of the trail and we just kept going.

    It was interesting to hear the implosion of air when the bolt of electricity struck.

  9. I had a teacher that everyone hated and one day in school she fell down the stairs and broke her back...solved the problem:P

    I've had dreams about completely pointless things that had no significance then had something happen in real-life exactly like the dream.

    A few years ago me and my friends were sitting on the ground in front of a store and eating and this long haired dude came up to us and said "Ya can't congregate here man, I been there done that, I'm tellin ya to go over to the park." Was kinda wierd.

    I'm sure I could dig up a few others, I'll post them if I think of them:P


    Everyone stop being a dick to Parcher too, the dude might've posted some wierd stuff but give it a damn break...

    Thanx. And I promise to be less abrasive, less controversial, and to keep the posts brief. If someone asks my oppinion about a side issue in a thread I will request that they start a new thread. Except in this one thread about Gay Marriage where we are having a discussion on Mormonism and no one seems to mind, even bbobb. He just thinks it's dumb which is a pretty healthy attitude towards religion for a non-believer.

    I'll do whatever I can.
