Thread: Dungeon Keeper - by Bullfrog

  1. Xbox 360 I Dungeon Keeper - by Bullfrog

Anyone ever played it? I got to the last level of the first one and my game got scratched. I want buy Dungeon Keeper Gold from someone and then play around with the map editor and make a really cool level. I messed around with the Age Of Empires map editor for several months and made a really weird level that almost worked before my computer would crash to desktop.

I beat the second version (of Dungeon Keeper), but I wonder if there ever was a third?

    Thanks,
    William Parcher
    Dum de dum dum DUMB!!!

  2. I've played DK2. I only played a few levels of it, but it seemed pretty fun, and it had a lot of unique ideas going for it. I probably should play it more sometime..
Buy Yakuza and Oblivion. Help yourself, help TNL.

  3. I believe there were only two of them. I played the first, got bored and left it long before it was done. My buddy loved the game though, beat it to submission.

  4. I'm with Error on this one. I got bored with it pretty quick, no idea what I did with it. I remember it came out around the time of Half Life.

  5. I've played the first one but could never get the second to run right on the computer I used to have. It was an awesome diversion and I had a lot of fun with it. The best feature had to be the way you could back-hand your units to get them to perform better or stop bitching so much. Also - the option to click on any unit and enter FPS mode was pretty cool.

Whatever happened to Bullfrog, anyway? Last I heard they got swallowed up by EA, but they haven't produced anything since. Cryin' shame...

Theme Hospital will always be the shit. I love that game so much.

I wish I could find Syndicate Wars somewhere.

  7. They got swallowed up by EA and then digested by EA. So in other words Bullfrog is no more.

That blows. Same thing happened with Westwood, although EA still makes the occasional Command and Conquer here and there.

I saw a used copy of Syndicate Wars for PS1 at a local Game-Crazy a while back priced at $60. Is it really that rare? I thought it was kinda cool how they had movie billboards advertising other Bullfrog games - including Dungeon Keeper!

  9. The sad thing is Bullfrog was supposed to make an editor for DK2 and release it free, but EA destroyed them before they could do so. Still a great game. I beat it some time ago, though I honestly didn't like the original.

Someone needs to make an online Syndicate game. It would be the greatest game ever.

  10. I've played a demo of this years ago. Whipping around the goblins for not doing their work was alot of fun.
