My local goth club regularly does play obscure and foreign gothic/industrial music and I'll have to put in a request there when I go next Wednesday.

One of the guys at work, his buddy runs a goth bar/club in Toronto.

I go there once in a while, but I just dress normally and no one really cares. Just have a few beers, and sit back enjoying the dark atmosphere and tunes.

Most people there are fairly normal, but there are a few people who are totally mental. Any sorta place you go is gonna have mental people, just of different types.


The place does have a cool t-shirt though. Wear it sometimes, too.

Yeah, yeah. What can I say? I don't dress goth, and I certainly don't like the whiney "I'm so goth I should be dead" bull-crap, but the culture intrigues me, and it's where I came from. My "roots," so to speak. I didn't fit in with anyone else in high school, mostly because I didn't want to, so I associated with the goths.

From shidoshi's description of the Japanese goth, I think I'd have a good time with them. I don't dig whining, and as far as doshi says, Japanese goths don't do that. Neat.
