  4. Lost in Translation I didn't want to see this at all, but my friend made me go. Now I have a new favorite movie!
    Kill Bill vol.1
X2 (big suprise for me since I didn't care much for the first one)
    Alien

28 Days Later was great in the theater, but when I bought it to watch at home it had lost a lot of it's magic. So I won't count it.

  5. i'd have to go with lost in translation. i love that movie sooooooo much.

  6. Pirates was a pretty big surprise for me also. I was shocked ho much I enjoyed it. I kicked myself for not seeing it in the theatre. Kill Bill was also fantastic but not movie of the year fantastic. Even though I havent seen RotK or Last Samurai my bet goes to LotR being my fav of the year. I fucking love the 1st two.
    Xbox Live- SamuraiMoogle

  7. Yet somehow it won't win movie of the year, even though it's the most popular movie all year round. (I wonder if it'll beat finding nemo?)

I'm not a Burton fan in the least bit, but even if Big Fish is about dogs taking craps, it has to be better than his Planet of the Apes movie.
    *researches*

  9. My top favourites this year... (it was a good year):
    1. This spot is reserved for Return of the King...
    - since I loved the other 2 and this is supposidly the best of the 3, it will no doubt take this spot.
    2. Last Samurai / Pirates of the Caribbean
    - Both of these movies really were great. It's hard to say which one I enjoyed more as they are a bit different. Last Samurai was epic and Pirates of the Caribbean was fun.
    3. Kill Bill Volume 1
    - Kill Bill was a great movie, cannot wait for part 2.

Other Great Movies I saw this year:
    - Finding Nemo, X-Men 2, The Hulk, Bruce Almighty and I'm sure I am missing a few films I saw.

T'was a good year for movies.
