When the madman lunged at police, one cop fired 14 shots - bringing down the suspect but also hitting her partner twice. The cop's vest stopped one bullet from hitting his chest, though another slug penetrated his knee.

Seriously, though, I can understand freaking out and emptying her clip at the guy, but hitting her partner (twice) in the process is inexcusable (unless he froze and was standing in the way doing nothing). If the guy didn't wear his vest he'd be dead. 12 other bullets were fired and the suspect is still not only alive, but is even in stable condition. She choked, bad.
