Frogacuda, you just don't argue against people that make arguements like that against Daytona.
Kano On the Phone, that was slightly less un-funny the first four million times I read it coming from you.

Daytona console: so-so.
Daytona arcade sit down 55 inch screen: Greatest racing game ever.
You people are all crazy, I still maintain RR5 is crap. I don't care about development times or budgets, but after R4 (which shat all over RR5), it was a huge disappointment. But for the $10 this game will cost you, it's enjoyable enough.
graphically, the Saturn version was ass, but hey, the gameplay was all there. Daytona 2001 is still my favorite though. i don't know why people bitched about the controls in that version since it was adjustable. better graphics than the arcade, and online play, what more could you ask for from a racing game?
Agreed! (You need to be linked up with 3 other people at least though)Originally Posted by MVS
dude, 6 fuckin months man (their first time messing around with the worse hardware ever no less!). they didn't even try to make a sequal man, at that point, they were just seeing if they could pull anything off, and i'd say the results were quite great.Originally Posted by NoFace
That was just in CCE and maybe one of the modes on the first Saturn one. I don't even think you know what you're talking about.Originally Posted by diffusionx
CCE should be stricken from all Daytona records. The game somehow managed to look better than the Saturn port, yet worse at the same time. Plus, they screwed up the music, controls, and pretty much everything else that made the original so fun. Daytona on the DC was fun, but I could never get the controls to match how they were in the Saturn version, responsive, yet not to a fault. I loved the car selection though, and being able to change the color scheme around was great.

Dude look at what's going on here. I was responding to Jeremy's points. JEREMY'S. I was RESPONDING to them. On a point-by-point basis.Originally Posted by Frogacuda

See? Thats what I DID.
Now, if you wanna call Jeremy the idiot for mentioning car selection, by all means.
