Having 4 of those cabs and 3 people to race with would be the end for me. It would be like jacking into the matrix. Life over. The End.Originally Posted by NoFace

I mentioned the SATURN version of Daytona's car selection, as opposed to the arcade version, since it gave you far more than the two choices that were present in the arcade original.

Well, I laughed, but more out of the self-parody that KotP is than anything else.

I've been getting more into Daytona 2 lately, actually. I never liked it for some reason, but I realized that was more because A) The machines at my local arcade are semi-broken and B) the easy track sucks nuts but the other 2 are cool as hell, and I always played on easy. And also I've been trying to play it multiplayer more.Originally Posted by Lucas Barton

shame that they never brought it over to Dreamcast.
a fucking CRIME indeed. But yes I'm in the Daytona love crowd, Initial D ROCKS, definitely worth trekin' to your local arcade for, if they have it. RRV is absolutely rockin'...it's like RR1 reinvented or something. I'm all over that. If it didn't have jaggies and had better music (from Namco's sound team instead of various artists), I would have liked it even more if that's possible. Nothing beats that tight car and track design, kick ass graphics and sweet sweet Namco power slidin' gameplay.
