What kind of cat do you own

My family has a lot of cats but mine is named Honey Nut. She's old, like 11, orange, etc. The weird thing about her is that the instant someone goes up to her to pet her or whatever she starts meowing like crazy. She just loves teh pet. I have never seen another cat like that.

Ive been trying to mentally prepare myself for her death for a few years now, cause she's old. It's really hard. There was a close call once - my mom said she thought she saw the cat dead o nthe side of the road but it was just a baby deer. How she got the two confused... Ill never know.

I have two cats, both female.

One is black with a few white markings. She can be friendly whenever she feels like it- sometimes when you pet her, she'll run away. Picking her up often causes her to meow in protest as if you're killing her.

The other is a gray/white stray I adopted from my back yard a few months back. Unfortunately I have to keep her in my bedroom 96% of the time because she doesn't get along at all with the other one (she'll chase that one to kingdom come and the fur will fly). The other 4% of the time, I'm holding her in my lap. The G/W is extremely friendly toward me and follows me like a dog, constantly meowing, when I come up to my room. This one purrs LOUD.
