Thread: Who was the mysterious "Bo" from Genny games?

  1. Who was the mysterious "Bo" from Genny games?

    He did the music for quite a few games, including:

    - Castle of Illusion
    - Quackshot
    - Phantasy Star 2 (end credits)
    - Phantasy Star 4 ("Mystery")

    Anyone know who he was and what other games he scored?

  2. Bo Jackson?

    Bo knows Video Game Music Composing!!!

  3. this question has been answered here before, i just can't remember where. i'd search for it, but the search doesn't like 2 letter words.

  6. I was wrong about that, btw. I was confused because they both worked on Space Harrier

    Bo's real name is Tokuhiko Uwabo. He als goes by "Noah Toku" (Tokuhiko Uwabo)

    As for his other credits they include Fantasy Zone, Space Harrier and Space Harrier II (he handled II exclusively), Phantasy Star 1, Sonic 3, Sonic and Knuckles... probably alot more I'm forgetting.

    Bo = Tokuhiko Uwabo.

    Also, Bo = Musical genius!!

    I don't have a full list (I'd love to see one), but I know he also worked on two of the best game soundtracks of all time: Alex Kidd in Miracle World and Fantasy Zone! He also worked on many of the the Sonic games, Phantasy Star, Zillion, Space Harrier. It's all pure gold.

  8. Ah! I can't beleive I forgot Zillion. That was one of my faves of his.

    You're not kidding. This thread/post inspired me to put it on and it's extraordinary. I might have to go back and play the game later too.

    If anyone wants to dl the Zillion soundtrack (+ others) you can get it here:
