Thread: Teen Titans

  1. You are correct in saying that Sinestro's motive is better than Nero's.

Heh, as we're typing back and forth to one another, my Hero Clix Sinestro Construct is sitting on my shelf, looking at me.

lol... upon looking for the statues you mentioned, I found a website made by the guy who re-created the titans in the 80's, and pretty much formed the basis for what would be the cartoon. This is interresting...
The Titans have also become a major animated series appearing on both The Cartoon Network and The WB. It seems to be a hit and has been renewed through its fourth season
4 seasons? Wow And here's the website...

  3. I like Teen Titans in the later half of the season, it started out pretty rough and too wierd but it has come a long way.

BTW found some of the maquette's/statues, just Robin(smiling feh) and Starfire for now.

  4. Wow...they look...

    Totally freaky.

  5. Captain Vegetable, the Guardians polar opposites are the Qwardians I think. Also has anyone seen the Duck Dodgers where they had the GL Corps (Kilowog and the rest late 80s-early 90s era) and Daffy (asaa GL) took on Sinestro? It was actually a fun episode. Creative use of ring powers. They should make a live action movie already.

  6. I can't stand most Justice League episodes. Nothing like seeing a bunch of men in tights flying around a fictional WW2 setting. (I know they altered time, but it's just too far fetched for me) Some episodes are well done, but some are just plain goofy.

I've only seen a couple episodes of this show and some of the fight scenes actually seemed pretty good (Dead X episode was pretty cool). I don't really like the characters, Robin included, but it's not fair enough for me to judge when I've only seen like 2 episodes.

He still has a power ring, and it's the most powerful ring any GL has ever seen.
That's really fucking cool... makes me sad I stopped buying comics a few years ago to buy more video games.

The Guardians used him as a last ditch effort to stop Hal, which I'd never imagine them doing, and Hal took him out in bad-ass fashion. Who else should have killed him? I liked the role-reversal in that fight.

Damn... so was Ion on a parallel with Parallax? Did Rayner come close to being corrupted by the power? I've got to get that trade.

No one else was willing to, and a new Specter was needed, right away. Plus, Hal came to repent his sins, and sacrificed himself battling the Sun Eater so that everyone else could live. I think he's redeemed himself in god's eyes. (but I agree that anyone who kills Kilowog deserves NO REDEMPTION!)

Yeah, so Teen Titans has a humor overload, at least moreso than the rest of the superhero cartoons. I like that. Has anyone else noticed that Robin's voice sounds EXACTLY like Max' from Dark Cloud 2?

...and, speaking of JLA, is Solomon Grundy supposed to die? He was awesome, even in SuperFriends 'cause he was so friggin' stupid. Why'd he have to die?

Wasn't Solomon Grundy already dead? I never did get his origin.
