Yup. I'm ridiculously into the game, yet I see no need or even desire for online play. Why? You don't compete against the other player, what they do has no bearing on your game whatsoever. Competing for score is great. But taking a game online solely for that purpose is quite excessive. Outlets like the score attack forum are good proof it's not necessary.
