    That's season 2 of TNG

Nice haul this year, also got an xbox DVD remote but I'm using that right now.

Congrats on the Dark Angel season 2 dvd set, im a huge fan of the show as you guys will see when I get pictures developed and scanned for the setup thread.

Hope you allready have season 1.

  2. Seems that everyone either received or gave multiple DVD's as gifts. Are they the official present of 2003 or something?

Honestly, everyone in my family except me got one or gave one. I kinda think they're too impersonal/cheap/quick-gift to appreciate. Then again, I don't have a favorite TV series to collect and I hardly watch movies.

  3. I got the house we now live in so thats my biggest thing this year.

Season 2 Dark Angel dvd set.

Gameboy SP & Mario and Luigi
    Ali documentry dvd
    500 dollars

    I think that be all..

  4. i got an NEC 1300a (dvd burner, tho a week after i ordered it NEC released the 8x for $30 more)

    some clothes
$150 in best buy money which will go towards a 9800pro

  5. I got about $100 or so in cash, a toque, a sweater, and... a Colorado Avalanche jersey. >_< Not that I don't love the Avalanche (gotta represent Sakic) but this reminds me of the Hockey Sweater story when the little kid wanted a Canadiens jersey but got a Leafs one instead.

I also went out shopping today and used the $100 I got to buy a digital camera for myself. That's about it. I don't get many presents anymore since there's about 20 kids in my extended family, so shopping gets expensive as fuck.
If my memory of her has an expiration date, let it be 10,000 years.

Its the best picture I have of it, its surprsingly loud and bassy for a 2x10" combo, and the tone is really nice.

but you have to admit, playing with pedals can be great fun. I recently lowered the pitch of my bass by 2 octaves, which while almost completely useless, made a really cool sound on the G strings first couple of frets. and playing with echoes is always fun (can you say U2 style riffs).

what I REALLY need is a decent bass, which I plan on getting fairly soon. Gonna get a bank loan to buy the bass of my dreams (well one of them. A really nice ricky). I'm just waiting for the right one to appear though.

DVDs are a great gift. They are inexpensive but they got a lot of mileage. I wouldve loved to get any of the LOTR extended DVDs, but as it is I am really happy I got The Sopranos discs, because I love the show and the DVDs are too rich for my blood.

  8. Inexpensive to you, maybe. Box set are upwards of $65, special editions are over $30, and God knows how much you can lay down for a TV series season on DVD.

And I just think they're kind of cheap. I dunno. Maybe I'm just bitter for not getting any.

  9. most likely, I didnt' get much this season, mostly because I didnt ask for anything, but if theyres any TV series I'd want on DVD it would be Seinfeld. Point.

    Good Times.
That's awesome! I'm a huge NBX fan as well, and that's simply the sexiest thing ever. Evar!

I got a Ps2. It's the only system I don't have, and it's getting a lot of SNK ports...so it finally made it onto my wishlist.
    Gran Turismo 3 A Spec
    Gran Turismo 2
    KoF2000/2001 Double Pack
20 or so packs of Cucumber Melon candles.
A hand made necklace a friend of mine made for me, she's actually quite good at it.
Castlevania Circle of the Moon GBA
    Versus DvD
    Bad Boys 2 DvD
    Clothes
    Unreal Tournament DC
Crazy Taxi 2 DC (Finally found it)
    Die Hard Arcade Saturn
    Clothes

All in all it was a great Christmas. All I had asked for was the Ps2.

"All creatures will DIE, and all things will be BROKEN: That is the law of the SAMURAI."
