    I rest my case.

People who are 13 and 14 are going to act like people who are 13 and 14...
You have no argument because they're going to act like a young teen should, immature would be a 20+ gamer acting like a 13 year old.
    Just a thought.

  2. From my experience on Xbox Live (with Mech Assault and Wolfenstein) there are some pretty retarded people online. I had much more problems with Mech Assault players than Wolfenstein, though. Of course, playing on the Internet you're always going to play with the idiots of the world which is why I generally steer clear of the scene altogether.

  3. If I had to put them in order of what game has the most annoying people it'd easily be PSO, MechAssault, and Wolfenstein. They're making their way into PGR2, but I normally play with people I know. Which brings up another point, you don't have to play with assholes.

  4. Sure, you don't have to play with assholes as long as you know 15 other people that have the same game as you and play on Xbox Live.

If you want to play online with a lot of people, yes you do have to play with assholes. Which is why LAN play/split screen will forever be superior to Internet play. If my friend's being a dumbass I can smack him. If some idiot online is being a dumbass then too bad, go find a new game. It's always nice having to work around idiots.

  5. i'm amazed to admit it, but i picked the xbox.

i used to whine about online games, too. before i got xbox live. you have to realize that you'll run into idiots in any live game, but if you're somewhat careful with your friends list, it won't be long before you're in games with nothing but cool people.

edit: markryan, you can always just host the game yourself. boot the assholes.

All we need now is 20 more people to vote for Gamecube and no one else to vote for the Xbox. Go Gamecube! The people's choice!

I can already envision Nintendo's press release on this thread.

"As you can obviously see from the poll results on TNL, Nintendo is the definitive winner for the year 2003 in terms of public opinion. The Gamecube and Game Boy Advance both pounded the Xbox into the ground with a beautiful Mario spin jump to show just how popular the Nintendo brand is."

I never EVAR have a problem getting a good crew of friends on PGR2, or Rainbow Six 3 (Which I play the most online) By hosting, I also boot whomever doesn't want to play right. Don't get me wrong, it's not all serious in there, but we don't ruin eachothers game.
