This time, Konami should make it less memorization-reliant and more flat-out manic. "Contra III on Crack & Jolt" sums up exactly what I want.
I couldn't care less for a Contra that had completely 3D game play, but I could live with having one 3D stage like that found in the original Contra as long as the whole shebang's playstyle remained chiefly 2D.
