I admire them for bringing out Stendhal Syndrome in the US. The DVD had a lot of extras (as all Troma DVDs do) and several that were about the movie. The rest were the typical Troma extras. Asia Argento...![]()
So what is your favorite Troma film? They are best known for the Toxic Avenger which spawned a action figure line,a kids cartoon, and whole franchise.
I know Jog who used to post here was a fan.
I liked the whole Toxic Avenger series and even Troma's War those stick out. Also Tromeo and Juilett was wierd. I have yet to see Terror Firmer and the new Toxie flick.
Troma is cool cause they can do alot with a very limited budget

In search of forever
I used to be a bigger fan than I am now, but I still enjoy a good troma movie every once in a while. I currently only own Toxic Avenger and Terror Firmer, as I've sold my other Troma DVDs (well, except Cannibal: The Musical, but I don't count that). I highly recomend the book Lloyd Kaufman wrote to anyone interested in filmmaking too.

Yeah, Troma films are weird bunch
I watched more than a few of them in old days, the only recent one I seen was Terror Firmer, and it was one funny fucked up movie. I havent seem Toxie 4 yet, but I might rent it when it hits video later this year.
Where did Jog go anyway?
Anybody have any idea why they made Toxic Avenger into a kids show? I loved it when I was little, but little did I know what it was actually based on. I got my dad to rent the movie for me...boy was I suprised when I actually watched it...heheh...not a kids movie![]()

I dont remember any anti-pollution message...I dont think I saw the first movie in the series actually. Whatever one it was..it started out with Toxie ripping out some guys guts and throwing them into the microwave...not sure which one that was.

Defintely wasn't the first cause the kid worked at a fitness gym before he fell into the Toxic Waste. Maybe the second? Where Toxie fights a bunch of guys coming from the limo.Originally posted by Mman

So anyone see the new Toxie film yet?
I have the Toxic Avenger theme song mp3![]()
"They pushed him in a barrel of waste.... toxic chemicals ate his face!"
I wonder what the people who sang that look like..
A while ago on the 'Bay I saw the vehicle from the Toxic Avenger cartoon show. It was just this disgusting mound of bright green and orange plastic that had no recognizable shape, or wheels for that matter.
The only Troma movie I've seen is surf nazis must die, and it is, without a doubt, the WORST movie I have ever seen. So bad that I purposely neglected to capitalize it’s title. I was foolishly expecting the humor to be the blatant type, but no, it didn’t contain any such humor. Even if there was, I imagine it would be hard to even crack a smile, because the movie is just so painfully horrible. After watching it my friend and I kicked the VHS to pieces, doused the remains in gasoline and set it ablaze. Seriously.
