Thread: Iron Man

  1. There is one. And it was terrible.

  2. Actually I believe there were two or three.

edit: Actually according to IMDB there have been 4, with another planned for 2009.

    1. Captain America (1991)
    2. Captain America (1944)
aka "Return of Captain America" - USA (reissue title)
    3. Captain America (1979/I) (TV)
    4. "Captain America" (1966)
    5. Captain America (2009)

  3. Robert Downey Jr is a really good choice, I think. He's a very good actor, he looks like Tony Stark, and he sort of mirrors his personality (successful but tormented by his own substance abuse). I approve.

    He's a great actor. I don't give a shit if he's a junkie.

It would be too cartoony.
Nah. I think it copuld work. It would have to be a movie exploring the reason and intent of the word patriotism though. Cap has always stood above the government and if written correctly could cause a huge rise in popularity for Cap. he deserves it.

  6. I can't picture a live-action Captain America movie being anything but really gay.

  7. I think the best way to do a Captain America movie would be to set it in the 1940s or something. I think a modern day Captain America movie would be hard to pull off.

  8. I didn't think of that. Seeing Cap fight Nazis would be cool.

  9. At first my initial reaction was WTF but after mulling it over it's actually a perfect choice.

The only problem is his age if the movie gets sequels (unless they shoot back to back) and I was hoping for an unknown but otherwise I can really see him in the part. Now bring on the goatee!

  10. Gay!
