This brings up the question: What do you call a black person who doesn't live in America since "black" is now apparently offensive?
Or how 'bout a black person who does live in America, but was born in a non-African country? Do we just say "fuck it" as far as his immediate ancestry is concerned and jump all the way back to Africa? Like, the dude has been living in Philadelphia for 10 years but he's obviously from Jamaica. Do you just call him African-American and then scratch your head because he screams "Jamaican"?

It's just that more and more professionals on TV and radio seem to be terrified to say "black", so we get "African-American" as some sort of ineffective euphemism.
I heard a creationist debating with an evolutionist on the radio and the evolutionist was saying how the first people on Earth were most likely African-American. The stupidity of using "African-American" in that context broke something in my brain, and now I get sand up my sperm shooter whenever I hear it.
I hate being called an african american.I hate the fact people are "scared" of saying Black. Being called a black man to me is a compliment.
and yeah. calling the first peoples african american is just idiotic.

I don't like to call black people black, because they aren't really black. They are dark brown.
