TNL NY get-together (The Aftermath)

It was a good time. Everybody was very cool. Slaughtered Lamb was overpriced, but had some damned good fries, and I learned of a new drink (the aforementioned Irish Car Bomb) which I will remember for future reference. It was a fun day, but I had to punk out a little early, along with John. Did I miss anything?

All in all it was a good turnout. I'm surprised we only missed two people. Thanks to everyone that showed.

After we parted company with the rest of you guys, Mezz and I headed to his place in Brooklyn to freshen up, had a beer, and left for Soho where we proceeded to drink our asses off until almost sunrise. I crashed over his place and left in the morning for NJ. Definitely good times.

I had a good time too. You all seemed like pretty cool guys. Thanks everyone for putting up with my really bad jokes, or just ignoring them alltogether. I know it's not even fair to call them jokes, (think really, really bad puns) but what the hell.

The resturant was pretty good I guess, but I wouldn't go back.

That waitress should have danced on the table for Werewolfs birthday for the tip that she got.

I'd be down for another trip to NYC, as long as there is a better plan in place for what to do. I like walking around and all but...

I'll prolly be down there in another month. I need to meet a few more ppl from CF that didn't show up Saturday and sapphire wants to see more of the city.

If I've got time off and a bit of money (& a couch to crash on would help

) I'd be up for heading out to NYC whenever you guys hook up again. I've never been east of Ohio before and the drive would seem like nothing after what I did this summer.
