Haven't played piano for 5 years, and now I've got the urge.![]()
I have a lower-end Casio model, model CTK-431 I think. I can't check at the moment... It's discontinued, but I got mine a year or so ago at a guitar center for about 60 bucks on sale. Search through eBay or hunt one down at music store, you may find one.Originally Posted by FirstBlood
But, it works very well. It's simple, has a small but kinda crummy tone bank, but there's MIDI in/out. It'll be just fine if all you want is simple connectivity to work with a KM type of thing.
If you can't find that, most of the CTK-400 line of keyboards have the same features, but with varying sound banks and included songs. I've yet to find one without the same MIDI support.
I also got the MIDIman hub to connect to the computer. It's USB powered, as well. Not expensive at all; cost me about 20 bucks at the time. Don't know the manufacturing company, but I do know it's a very unappealing bright green color.
Hope that helped some.
Thanks... I'm gonna try to get something off ebay after I deposit some money into my bank account.
