i'm excited about it, of course. i'm a big pitch black and vin diesel fan so i've been waiting for this one for a while. i just hope they don't try to do too much. the teaser trailer looks promising.

I really liked Pitch Black but this one seems like a sequel, which is ok. The only thing I detest is the fact that Vin Diesel is seen as a 1 trick pony. The guy is really nice in real life, and like a huge dork too. I'm not even joking, he likes his games.

That aside, in the trailer they already have the classic 'Vin character' running from something incredibly unrealistic - that huge boat or something. In XXX he was out snowboarding an avalanche, so this makes me worry.
I just hope it isn't another lets make 20 mil of Vin's name movie.

Anyway, I think Vin's pretty cool, and Pitch Black was an awesome, unique movie (well, visually, anyway). I doubt it was originally intended to make a sequel- I think no one expected the movie to be as big as it was or for Vin to become so popular. Still, Riddick was a cool character. I hope this movie turns out good.

Okay, just watched the teaser on pitchblack.com...weird. But in a good way. I'm intrigued.
