Thread: Why GC is more "powerful" than XBox

Dude, it's the same thing. The wire just detaches from the system a little further from the Box. Why would it be better if the plug just came out of the system itself?

Because then it wouldn't be a small, separate part to get lost. My roommates in Seattle misplaced them all the time. There were times when a friend would bring over a system and controllers and have left the stupid little plugs at home on accident.

And what's most stupid about them is that they come off as a good idea when they're really completely unnecessary. Why not just have the cord break apart in three areas?

  3. I think the problem is your friends.

  4. i like the GC controller wires better than the xbox controller wires..

    therefore, GC > XBox

seriously, if you have to make your controllers' cords 15,000 yards long, why use the most god-awful plastic crap feeling material in the world to make it with?

i hate those cords.. man, i really do.

Because they have to be GREEN! Actually, the new blue Xbox Controller-S I bought now has a softer plastic black cord - I'm assuming they'll all eventually ship with it, but maybe not.

And as for "screen-tearing" on Xbox games - I've personally always felt it had something to do with Microsoft shipping the dev kits and then nVidia falling down on the video processor spec.s and down-grading it twice at the last minute ( from 300, to 266 to 233 Mhz ). It seems to be on alot of older games, and on newer games ( say PGR2 ) I haven't noticed it at all.

  6. Nintendo's former head was into Love Motels. Bill Gates is into...?
Based on that, Gamecube is more powerful, more better, and more sexy.

  7. Ummmm......

Mode 7 is better than Blast Processing.....or something.

  8. Decent article, no reason for some of the flames. I don't own either system unfortunately though I've thought of buying a GC but money keeps me from doing so.

    I'm still hard-core PC either way though:P
