Quake 2 - played too much of this in normal multiplayer, and I was in a competitive Weapons Factory clan for about 2 years.
Doom - a whole lot of single player, and a lot of modem deathmatch. I didn't play Doom 2 all that much because it didn't run well on my 486/25.
Quake 1 - hell, I've played DM2 more than I've played some of the games on this list
Street Fighter Alpha 2 - Ryu vs Ken, 4-8 hours a week, for a year
Contra Hard Corps - I wanted to beat it on one credit and it took a while
Battle Garegga - see above
Might and Magic III - I don't know why I played this game that much

Quake 1 - hell, I've played DM2 more than I've played some of the games on this list

Replace Quake 1 with 3, and DM2 with DM17 and you've got me right there.

1. Everquest (pc) finally beat that addiction
2. glQuake (pc) Many hours of lan play. Still my favorite
3. Contra (NES) Freshman year at college, we beat this domany ways it hurt.
4. Super Mario Brothers (NES) Same
5. Baseball Stars (NES) the only baseball game I had untill i got my psone
6. Half-Life and it's many mods (pc) seems like an unlimited number of games it has somany mods
7. FFVII (PSOne) The reason I bought the damn thing
8. GTA:Vice city (PS2) plain dumb fun
9. Minesweeper (pc) work can be boring
10. Tetris (pc) same

-Team Fortress Classic: got the game in 1999, and im still playing it at least 2-3 hours a week. This game will never get old for me.
-Contra III: timeless. i used to finish it over and over.
-Gunstar Heroes: same as contra.
-Mario 3: me and my firends lived off of this game when we were younger.
-Goldeneye 007: 4 player deathmatch, every day, for a year straight.
-Mario Tennis: took over Goldeneye's spot when it came out.
-Street Fighter2 Turbo (snes): when i wasnt playing friends, i was playing one player trying to finish the game without losing a round on 8 star difficulty (i never was able to)

I forgot about PowerStone 2. I played that game 4 nights a week, 2 hours a night for like all of my sophomore year at college. The girl living next door to me would hear me and my roomate scream out stuff at 2am like "One more round! I'm gonna bend you over that chair and pump your ass so hard it'll bleed!" I wonder if she understood our style of insults or not...
