Spike Jonze next projects (?)

I have been waiting to hear more information for a few months in regards to the Spike Jonze rumored project. There has been confirmed information that Jonze had been kicking around ideas for a new movie with Chuck Palahniuk (author of Fight Club). Some say that Jonze has expressed interest in doing a film based on Chuck's novel "Survivor", while Chuck wants him to do a film based on "Diary". Others say that they are brainstorming a completely original idea. There have also been some claiming that a Jonze/Charlie Kaufman project is in the works, that be a horror style movie or again a film adaptation of Palahniuk's "Survivor".

Trust me...if you havn't read "Survivor", say what you want about Palahniuk, but this book is amazing, and has the potential be an unbelievable movie, if done right.

The IMDB also lists that Jonze is doing a movie based on the children's book "Where the Wild Things Are". I can't find any information on if it is a rough translation, CGI-based or anything.

If anybody has info on any of these project, I am very interested.

The Where The Wild Things rumor was up at AICN a few months back, search for it there. I think he wants to do it with just suits and no cg.
