Thread: Games that need to be localized for US/Eur

  1. Policenauts (of course, might as well throw in the enhanced Sat/PSone versions of Snatcher too).

Blue Submarine No. 6 (DC)- Some find it boring, I love the sense of exploration, following a faq sucks though.

Macross (PS2)- Looks freaking beautiful compared to Robotech Battlecry, however Harmony Gold's license probably ensures we'll never see a faithful translation of the game.

Doshin the Giant/ Nintendo Puzzle pack / Giftipia (GC)- Not so much because they are must buys, but because Nintendo shouldn't be so picky with it's US releases. Hell, Animal Crossing sold well, bring out some more quirky @#*%!

Far East of Eden (Turbo Duo)- These games looked really nice back in the day, but they are as hard as it comes for walkthroughs.

  2. Growlanser IV The Wayfarer of Time - With II and III coming out (eventually) it would be great to see the forth in this great series localized as well... though I have little faith in Atlus to do so

Otogi 2 - I thought the first one was great, and I'm hoping the sequel is as good... heck it's already got a werewolf character so to me it's tops ^..^ Actually I just found out there is a video of this on the Jan 04 OXM magazne demo, just let the videos run and it's like the forth video.

Terranigma (Creation) - One of Super Nintendo's best Action RPGs, it's already translated to English just port it over to the GBA and I'll be happy

Genso SuikoGaiden volume 1 and 2 - The side story of Nash the swordsman from Harmonia, taking place between the events of Suikoden II and III this would be very nice to have... but highly unlikely

I keep asking them for this, they could bundle it with the first one and sell it that way, that would be great.

    Huh?

  4. Macross (PS2), the other GBA Fire Emblem, FF3, Secret of Mana 2, Rondo of Blood, Wario Ware GC (I gave my GBA copy to a friend months ago thinking the GC version would be out shortly, where the hell is it?!), Policenauts, SamSho RPG, there's probably lots of shooters I'd care for if they were budget titles over here, Naruto 2 for PS2...

They redid the second one in this series recently and are coming out with a third one... though I doubt ether will make it here

  6. Seiken Densetsu 3 for GBA. Word.
I knew he was a commie, cause he didn't drink [duff] beer.

  7. i'd have been happy with Ys 1&2.....

  8. I vote for Giftpia. Also, any Sakura Taisen game Sega wants to give us.

    Custom Robo too.

Oh and pretty much anything with Naruto written on it. Far too many anime games I'd like to see brought over, like that Evangelion 2 world simulator game that was just released for PS2.

Just use the English patch, it's keen.

  10. ChainDive (PS2, weren't there rumors of someone doing this?)
    Shin Megami Tensai 3 (PS2)
    Policenauts (anything)
Giftpia (GCN, sounds weird ... curious)
