Thread: Battlefield 1942 Xbox

  1. Yield Battlefield 1942 Xbox

This is quite the mixed message here:

The rumor is going around that this year's EA sports titles are going to be on Live, with the first EA game going Live being Battlefield 1942. Thoughts? Think there is much credibility to these rumors?

Counterstrike JUST came out, so... don't ask.

  5. I couldn't imagine how horrible BF1942 would be on Xbox Live, and I'm not even talking about the actual gameplay in any way.

In all seriousness, if EA puts online sports on the Xbox, the PS2 just became worthless to many, many mainstream gamers.

I think it would be pretty good. The planes would probably be easier to fly, and maybe they could fix up the awful on-foot gameplay while they're at it.

This gets a thumbs up from me. Which is all any developer really needs.

You know, you don't have to use the keyboard/mouse when flying. I use my Dual Shock, and it works great. And most good players use an actual flight joystick for flying.

Oh, you use a controller? Like, a console controller?

So my theories on the flyability of the planes in the Xbox version have been proven.
