  1. #11
Nothing is in my DVD now since I just gave in to my parents (they needed something that could run DTS) and I'll just use my PS2 from now on...there is just nothing in it at the moment.

And In my VCR is a blank tape which I am using to record Gilmore Girls for my gf, who is at work.

  6. Well, In the last couple days I watched few more films.

Ocean's Eleven - Not bad crime caper. Never seen the original, but this remake was pretty good. Good cast and direction, and some nice scenes. Was little slow in parts, but not bad overal.

Not Another Teenage Movie - Well, Another comedy spoof, this time all those teen films. It had some funny parts and referenses, but not the greatest. Ok for one time rental

Guns & Talks - Cool Korean Crime/Comedy about group of 4 hitmen, and their life and police officer on their tail. Some cool assassination scenes, some funny dialog, and good direction.

I need to see Ocean's 11 but the reviews state the ending is weak though.

Not Another Teen Movie has it's moments like the breakfast club spoof.

Despair what did you think of Session 9 you said you were gonna check it out?

  8. I watched Ocean's Eleven last night- it was great, and I gave it another play this afternoon. This movie's soundtrack is to die for. The suspense element was great as well in this story about a casino heist.

Today, I saw Thir13en Ghosts. Now there's a good horror movie with a few nice-n-gory deaths, as well as some truly creepy ghosts. This family inherits a glass house from their late uncle. What they find out is that some ghosts are cooped up deep inside. The Jackal is the scariest one of the bunch, but the Hammer comes darn close. The only catch is that the camera movements can get a bit too sudden sometimes.

Earlier in the week, I checked out Scarface (1983, Al Pacino). This one is a tad long, but it's damn good.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

  9. I didnt like 13 Ghosts much. Its started out great, but ending was too lame Visuals and fx were great, and sets very creepy, I loved first half of the film, layer death was great, but than its became silly and predictuble.

Jackal had a good make up, but wasnt as Dangerous as Hammer or Juggernaut. He only kept scratching, while other 2 ripped their vitims to pieces.

3rd film from the Dark Castle productions, that made 13 Ghosts and House on the Haunted Hill, comes out this Fall. Its called Ghost Ship, and it sounds interesting.

  10. right now I have Waking Life in my DVD player, gonna watch it in a little bit.
