The pre-NPD probably looks a bit different but I'm not gonna fork over a few grand just to get a look at it.

Football, #1....that sucks. The big suprises are the games that came out at the very end of the year and still made the list; NFS: Underground, MK: DD, Tony Hawk.

2003 was a great year IMO, Sony and Nintendo both cleaned house, but 2004 looks to be even better, particularly for MS (maybe they'll make the list next year) and Nintendo (a particularly good lineup this year).

The only one of those games that I purchased was Zelda:WW... wow, the rest (aside from TH: Underground) don't even peak my intrest. Sad year if those are the top sellers in my opinion.

Madden 2005 will be top next year, and Madden 2006 will be top the year after that, unless a new GTA comes out. Football is the number one sport in the U.S. right now, and Madden has a insane fallowing it makes sense to me.
