Thread: Developer Spotlight: Treasure

  1. Puyo Developer Spotlight: Treasure

The third in our series of developer profiles is MechDeus' look at Treasure, a favorite around these parts.

  2. Wait, wasn't Silhouette Mirage released first for the Saturn in Japan, the PSX in Japan, then butchered by Working Designs in America for the PSX? Where did N64 come from?

Great articles, though. Funny that there hasn't been a Treasure article all this time here. At least the right man did it.

  3. Nice read, I hope you someday take the time to update your site(a complete makeover might be best though), some good memories of listening to the radio station, also the first Treasure site I wisited.

  4. Opa Walking

    Great article Mech.

  6. I was so happy to find this article. I was recently looking for a COMPREHENSIVE look at Treasure's history and catalogue of games and lo and behold, there it is. I recently acquired Guardian Heroes and a Sega Saturn, and I can see why people loved this game. I have fond memories of playing Gunstar Heroes as well. I'm glad the writer of that article mentioned how unfairly underrated Mischief Makers is. It's a great game and I get upset when I see how most people just like to overlook it as if it one of Treasure's mistakes.

  7. Treasure has always been a favorite around here, and deservedly so. If you have any more questions about its games or history, ask around. The author of that article is on the forum all the time and there are plenty of other Treasue fans, too. Might I suggest www.treasuregear.com and sfkosmo.gamersgraveyard.com for further reading? Might I also suggest Sin & Punishment for the Nintendo 64? That's another title that's shamefully overlooked.

  9. Buster's Bad Dream shouldn't be too hard to find: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...118933-5342040 .

    Relatively speaking, that is.
