Would you say it's more or less consistent with what's found in the demo? Because I actually dug it quite a bit.

hrm. it's hard to even remember the music for me. the only reason i can remember the first level's music is because i was playing it again earlier to day to demo the game for some people in the office.

that level had more of japanese traditional style, it's among the better music in the game. really, between the fact that it's on the subtle side and the fact that i'm usually so embroiled in trying to beat the shit out of hordes of really powerful, speedy, and intelligently-designed enemies, i kinda don't notice it too much.

IGN gave it a 9.4. Said it's tough, some of the music isn't that great, basically everything that Ferricide said.

Gamespot gave it a 9.4, stated that it's the best game of its type this generation, and hinted that it might be the best game of its type ever.

They also gave it a 10 for sound, and said they liked the music a lot. To each his own, I guess.

Yes, that's what I meant. And I remember being very lucky and being called by EB a half hour before close time when they got their first shipment of the Wind Waker. Rarely happened but I can still hope for an advance

That would be awesome. My EB is like 2 blocks from my house, so if they get the game in late Tuesday and call me, I will be there in 5 minutes.

That's why it's SO fucking sad that they put the SNES rev on the disc. I was trying to explain this to Korly a few days ago.
