I hate Wal-Mart, Target, and any other discount store. I don't care if you're black, white, hispanic, asian, whatever - if you're shopping there regularly, you're lazy trash. End of discussion. I get annoyed by the clientele of those stores without even having to go inside - I just need to get close to a Wal-Mart.

That being said, I unfortunately have to shop there, too, for paper towels and laundry detergent and such. I don't buy the cheapest stuff, though, so that makes me feel a little bit better in my hypocrisy.

I would think that someone with as strong a conviction as you would go somewhere else for your sundry goods. It doesnt matter if you buy expensive paper-fucking-towels or soap, youre still being an asshole hypocrit. Theres nothing wrong with shopping at Target or any other major retailer (Discount Store is a term that should apply to those such as 'Food 4 Less' and '99cent Stores'), I dont know why anyone would make such a big deal about them.

It's when you have to work for them, deal with them buying their way into your town to build a 24-hour "supercenter" next to a residential neighborhood, or work 12 hour days in one of the sweatshops they use making 12 cents an hour that it becomes utterly clear there is most definately something wrong with Wal-Mart. What, have you lived in a vacuum the past few years? Even the corporate media as of late has been covering what's been going on, from the illegal immigrant workers to the largest sexual discrimination lawsuit against a retailer ever. The Feds were apparently wire-tapping a certain higher-up at Wal-Mart, had proof he knew about the illegals, and THEN did the raids. A Federal grand jury investigation is still pending.....

As far as them blaming "contractors", it's nothing new. They say the same thing about the sweatshops, "we don't own them, they're contracted" - hey, I guess passing the buck makes everything AOK.
