She "let him have this one"? It's a fucking NAME. Who gives a shit if you made room planning, etc. This is his NAME, something he has to live with until he's old enough to change it. He's the victim of some asshole's hard on for stupid tech shit like product versions. They give version names specifically BECAUSE they don't have to change the name for successive generations of essentially the same program.

I hope this kid grows up to hate his father more than usual.
