Are you good at videogames?

I only have the world records for Bubble Bobble and Paperboy on the NES. I guess you could say I'm good at videogames.

The scores were 4,334,270 for Bubble Bobble and 195,400 for Paperboy.

I don't think you can say you are good at videogames because there are so many different kinds of games. I would say I am good with fighting games, but that doesn't mean I am good with shooters. Anyone here really good with every known genre of videogame?

Yes. I consider myself good at videogames. I am on TNL you know, but I still haven't beaten DMC on DMD mode.

Is beating Halo on Legendary considered hard to do? That was probably my biggest recent accomplishment, I guess.

i voted yes..
i consider myself pretty decent at shmups, although there's always room for improvement..

and i generally suck at fighting games, although i'm not bad at street fighter..

and strangely enough, i consider myself one of the best MKII players in the world.. i'm normally modest about things, but I've never met anyone I couldn't beat.. arcades, xband, kaillera.. i've been around w/ MKII..

I'm at least decent at every videogame genre I've ever attempted with the exception of DDR or other music rythm games, but I think that's mostly due to avoiding playing them as much as possible.

I think videogames are meant to be accessable so anyone can be 'good' at them with practice, but being some kind of videogame guru takes effort and skill in most genres.

Yes, I'd say I'm good, not great, but good. I'm well rounded if anything. I really excel at RPG's, Puzzle games, and I rule at Mega Man. I don't even play these types of games that much anymore, it's just that I started out playing these types of games as a kid on the NES and can just flow when I play them.
Nowadays, I spend a lot of time with shooters and fighters(the 2D variety) and am only average at these, in my opinion.
