This could turn out to be something good. Not for the games alone, but we could get a good comic line out of it if Marvel handles the comics. EA's not stupid enough to sell an after school special-esque superhero in this day and age. (they're cheesy)
It'll be something that will cater to people in our age group or even older (inline with the gaming demographic). Maybe it won't, though and I'm wrong. In which case it's just dumb.
I'd pay good money to see Frodo's white-man afro doing the water dance.... under water.Originally Posted by Korly

Yeah, Stormy already mentioned this, but EA doesn't own the licensed characters their games portray. This means we'll get plenty of 'risque' original characters like a Jamaican snowboarder and a super-tall Asian basketball player and...that's about it. Ooh! And maybe a purple-haired, midriff-baring tween with (get this)...lots of attitude.
So, setting aside the problem of EA's 'orginal' characters, can we expect EA-produced Marvel fighting games to be any good? Most of EA's stuff isn't completely broken/untested/buggy. But a fighting game? Eh...![]()
