Thread: I Robot

  1. Wow, that website is amazing. I actually didn't click on that link when I first saw it, but I went to it after I saw the teaser poster in the theatre. I am really excited for this after going through the site. I need to read the book now.

It's just one of the stories. Oddly, it's the only one I clearly remember.

You got me with the fake description. The real one has a very good chance of being interesting, though I'm wondering how they'll stretch the short story to movie length.

  5. But....... this isn't the story of I, Robot!! WTF?!? They can't do this! It screws up the Elijah Baley stories, which would actually make good movies. This is frustrating; first, they destroy The Positronic Man and now they're screwing the Robot series up. Does this mean that they'll go and destroy Asimov's best series, Foundation? Supposedly, they are changing the creator of the Three Laws, too. Sheesh.

Dear lord, this makes me sick.

  6. Will Smith should do the theme song like he does with the rest of his movies. It would be totally fitting.

I hope it turns out good. With Alex Proyas (Crow/DarkCity) directing, I am sure it will be very stylish/visual.

Hehe. Quiet, um, jock... or whatever you do. Yeah.

They've assembled a good team, though, so this hopefully won't be Bicentennial Man. Proyas is responsible for one of my favorite films, so it has that going for it.
