Molly Ringwold?
It isn't a brand new movie, but I am wondering if anyone else has seen or heard of it. I picked it up two weeks ago and it is a damn good flick. I hadn't heard of it, but the blurb on the dvd box caught my attention.
Scottish film, directed by Ken Loach.
Winner, Best Screenplay, 2002 Cannes Film Festival; Winner, Best British Independent Film, 2002 British Independent Film Awards

I saw the trailer for this a while ago, the story sounded fairly interesting, but the trailer really seems to build it up like a run of the mill teen movie.I'm sure it must be more than that given it's accolades, but damn, the trailer makes it seem like they had the Fast and the Furious director try his hand at a teen drama

The trailer actually gives it a bit of a bad name, it is a really good flick. Not at all like any "run of the mill teen" movies I have seen. No fast and furious, it is a drama - not an action movie, comedy, romance or teen movie.
Seriously check it out. It is well worth the watch... read the reviews on it, it will probably give you better insight to the movie than the trailer.
