Is the "Bat and the belfry" the Joker episode?
No clue.
I guess WB is trying to milk the "newness" of the series for as long as they can. I dont think there were that many episodes in this first (and only?) season to begin with.
Is the "Bat and the belfry" the Joker episode?
Yes... I think it was "Bats in the Belfy" though...Originally Posted by Will

Man my enthuiasm for this show has been killed.
Nothing like getting hit with repeats after only 4 episodes![]()

Another repeat -_-
I really want to see the Scarface, Man-Bat, Mr. Freeze ones.
So nobody's been watching the new eps?
I skipped the Man Bat one, but the Mr Freeze one kicked ass, and this Firefly one is on the right track as well.
Origins, awesome action, good story, Adam West doing a voice.
Hated to see Bats rely on another gimmick suit for Mr Freeze, but it made sense since Freeze had about 100 times more power.
This Firefly is espically good, lots of good action, and I believe this is the first episode where we've seen Batman and Bruce Wayne's life actually intersect.
In the last cartoon, Firefly was a joke of a character, but in this one he's awesome. He's got the look, the firefly trail when he flies, and he even makes buzzing noises. Way to make a shitty character completely awesome.
Not to mention the jokes in this episode were pretty spot on as well. I think this episode finally got the whole procedure right this time, it all finally came together.
Also, it seems WB ran the older episodes again so they were waiting to show all new episodes during their special, dubbed "New-vember". Stupid, but oh well. The episode on the 27th has the Ventroliquist, and the episode next week has someone dubbed "The Cluemaster"? Not sure why he's not The Riddler, but oh well.

Yeah, Ive been catching them since the new episodes restarted Roufuss. The Man-Bat one I didnt care for too much. Maybe because it just couldnt compare to the older TAS ones <shrugs>.Originally Posted by Roufuss
The Freeze one wasnt too bad. They defintely amped up his powers in line with the way this series has been doing with all of the villians. Victor Freeze was a lot more evil and vengeful of Batman in this one (Freeze was just a common criminal being chased by Batman after a robbery , Bats comes close to catching him, but the guy falls in to a ....uh.... "freeze machine" - 3 years later he wakes up - voila - super villian with a hard-on to kill Batman). When Batman pulled out the polar suit to fight Freeze, I did a <> , but I guess he really did need it to win (kind of like he needed the robo suit against Bane). Its not like he wore it to be festive or something.
And Adam West did a voice? which one?
I agree. This was a good one that did a lot of things right. We had a decent plot that tied into Bruce Wayne's life (and Bruce using his position to lure Firefly out for the kill), a good amount of action, a high speed rocket chase over Gotham, and a villian that once again trumps the lame original ( I liked the buzzing, blinding light flashes, lasers, fly-like flight, and costume tooOriginally Posted by Roufuss

It was cool seeing Batman own (and loving every second of it) a pissed off and grounded FireFly towards the end to.
And the finale with FireFly tied up with a sign that read "Goth Corp Employee of the Month"- nice touch ....
Another thing, I wonder if we'll see a Superman appearance in these as a lot of characters on the side keep mentioning Metropolis. And isnt that asian detective from Metropolis? I smell crossover.
Cluemaster? Weird. The Cluemaster is a seperate villian from the Riddler in the DCU. Roughly the same gimmick as Riddler, just not as snazzy as a dresser. But Play had a couple of pages on The Batman, with Matsuda holding up a pic of the Riddler (looked like a long haired punk rock kid - weird style for a Riddler character)and is going to be voiced by Robert Englund of Freddy Krueger fame.Originally Posted by Roufuss
