New Batman Cartoon

I just saw the Catwoman episode, another great feast of direction and animation. It's a real treat to get something this well directed after seeing something like Teen Titans 3 quarter view fest. This show has different angles, different shots, cool effects that don't overpower the animation and it's just downright amazing to see the show in motion.

The story is alright, but I don't judge cartoons based on story because they're written for children, and it would be absolutely retarded to do that. This is definitely one of the best cartoons I've seen in a long, long time (I don't usually watch them that often).

I like the show but i like all of them but i really like is the theame song. I think it would make a cool ringtone. does any know the name or a a way to find it in mp3 form?

I know Larry Mullen Jr. from U2 does it, and the name?.....Theme from "The Batman" <shrugs>

I agree on all counts. That Firefly episode came on here just a little while ago - hopefully you caught that one too.

No I didn't. It's on Saturday at 10 here (I wake up at 10 on most Saturdays), so it's pretty sweet. I watch 30 minutes when I wake up to start off the day. It's followed by Teen Titans, which isn't nearly half as good. They always end up fighting in weird arena locations in which obstacles are set up for the only apparent reason of being smashed through. I also dislike most of the characters. Beastboy and that cyborg dude are cool. Robin is still the homo he's always been, and the two girls have terrible voice acting and uninteresting personas.

But this show is so fresh. I'm totally going to get up for it if I remember.

I saw the Clayface episode via teletoon Canada...they show their episodes on time. I think the WB is making a mistake hold back new episodes here in the U.S....it makes people lose interest when all they show is repeats. I live 2 min from Canada (Detroit, MI) and was able to see teletoon broadcast air.

Clayface 2 part episode was deep. You will enjoy it I think.

I missed it this week. I have sinitis (no clue how to spell it), and have for the past week so I slept in until like 10:45 this past Saturday. Feels like my face is going to implode.

Saw part 2 of the Clayface episode this morning.What's cool is, I had no idea when part 1 started last week that these were going to be the Clayface ones. His origin got shook up real good for this show,and surprised me - and I liked it.As a matter of fact a lot went down in this 2 parter - Bats has a new "partner" and thanks to the Joker lost an old friend/gained a new enemy


I'm impressed and glad for the direction this series is taking. Good stuff.

Oh,and I DL'ed the Ventriloquist episode - the huge dummy robot kicking cars around while carrying the ventriloquist in his arms was an awesome visual.

Who havent we seen yet in this villian-wise? Two-Face, Scarecrow,Riddler, I look forward to seeing how their design and origins are handled....

Riddler episode was great, this new Marilyn Manson Riddler kiks azz.
The new Killa Croc (Ron Perlman) also rox.
I was not impressed with Spellbinder.
Ragdoll is one of the BEST new villians period. His episode was extremely good.
Hugo Strange (Frank Gorshin) was ...ok.


Season 2 is top notch so far...I have not seen the Batgirl or Poison ivy yet.
