Jesus Christ, why is that so horribly wrong?Originally Posted by Jetman
I'll still watch it, but excitement -900 if they're not going for at least a modicum of realism.

Wow, this looks very cool, sounds like they're actually trying to reinvent it in a lot of ways. They seem to be putting a ton into the production too, especially with the voice actors. And U2 providing the theme song? Wow. O_o
But yeah, what the fuck is going on with that Joker? It's not really his maniacal/unrealistic face, moreso his hair that looks just retarded to me.
That Joker fig. looks like something straight out of a Spawn comic. Regardless, I'll be keeping an eye out for this show.
I can't believe I fucking missed that. The yellow symbol was added to the comics for marketing reasons. Why would you put that in a new Batman cartoon about his origins? It took a while to get RID of the yellow, why bring it back?Originally Posted by foreverand1day

Yeah, I was a bit surprised at that pic too. Maybe were not seeing the whole figure , and Joker just happened to shock himself with one of his own hand buzzers or something. <longshot>Originally Posted by Andy

Hopefully they wont jack up the other characters, ie. giving Catwoman costume a tail , or fuck up the Scarecrow to make him look like a dead puritan (it did look creepy as fuck, but it shouldve been for a different character)like in the latest Batman cartoons...
Wow that Joker looks crazy. Jeff Matsuda who is a comic book artist and designer for the stuff in Jackie Chan Adventures is doing the art design for this cartoon as well which would probably explain the more unorthodox style. I do like the other look Joker usually has but we'll see how this look plays out in the cartoon.
I didn't want the yellow part of the insignia back and the utility belt seems to have no pouches like the current one does which kind of sucks since he'll probably pull out alot of gadgets from his ass.
The Joker design reminds me quite a bit of the Green Goblin in the Spidey flick.

I have to say, I really like the designs of this I've seen so far. Batmans chin looks big because he's pouting.
The joker looks like something from a tim burton film (AKA awesome)!
