Agreed. Lets just hope that 10-15 years down the road Jackson dosen't turn retarded like Lucas did. Which I don't see happening but you never know. If you'd of asked me when I was a kid if I thought the SW trilogy would ever be changed I'd of looked at you like you just said the moon didn't exist.

I don't think it would matter anyway because LotR is not under Jackson's ownership whereas SW is totally under Lucas. Jackson could go nuts in a year and insist that LotR needs to have a CG Strawberry Shortcake replace Frodo and New Line would outright laugh at him and say screw off.

No, it will sell like crazy because the general public doesn't care if Lucas edits inconsequential fractions of seconds from a scene.

This is another way of saying that they are sane, unlike the Lucas haters, who abandoned all traces of sanity years ago.

They weren't "accidents", they were well-executed pieces of pulp storytelling that were elevated to the level of mythology by insane fans.

The general public is niether sane nor smart. Have you missed all the political and retail threads on this board and the rest of the net?

I have no problem with his acting skills. His scene with Darth Vader in ESB, where they are on the catwalk, is rather weak though. When he does his crying out: " No, it's just not possible! (Cries)" It just did'nt look that convincing.

I've watched a couple of the Batman cartoons and now that you mention it, it does kind of sound like Mark Hamill. Kudos to him, for a fine job!

Well they won't care if they don't know so you're right

It would be funny to see this in the features lowdown on the back of the DVD case:

    - Re-edited footage to "seem" "closer" to Lucas's "vision"
    - Laser blast impacts removed for teh kids!
    - No extra footage

This is another way of saying that they are sane, unlike the Lucas haters, who abandoned all traces of sanity years ago.
Why is it that every time someone has a problem with what George Lucas does to his films the person is labeled as a "hater"?
