They were a bunch of pirates who suckered a lot of stupid people and manipulated a videogame scene ripe for manipulation. It's underhanded and sleazy but nothing I would call horrible.

Oh yeah...another thing that NGF would do was if you ordereda few games from them (say like 2) they would hold on to one of them (Send out the other) and basically get you to buy another cart so that they'd finish your order...What type of business would hold something you've paid for hostage...

They did more than just steal thousands of dollars, they bought a good portion of the legit copies and pretty much destroyed them. Made pirated copies with thier own documents. That's Dion and company I'm talking about. That's pretty damn low, if you ask me.

Well, at least Jafake knows it. A big "No shit, Sherlock" to him. I wish the law would wake up, smell the coffee, and nail his ass. He's probably thinking "They'll go after PC & console game pirates first since that's the ESA's domain".

It's a shame people like him have been getting away with murder on eBay while legit Dreamcast game auctions were once routinely killed like flies in a halogen lamp.

As for the original story, I think the guy really got in trouble because of the mail fraud involving Cisco, not so much the piracy.
