Just like the current US-UK military alliance, our humor is so far superior to the rest of the world that it would take hundreds of years for them to catch up. If that show had even a fraction of that kind of support when it was on, Fox never would have cancelled it.

I watched Family Guy religiously in it's first and for most of its second season when it aired during the summer months as 'new' material. It's when fox started jumping FG around the schedule that people stopped following.

And I've always watched Futurama. There's no bandwagoning here.

Good point. I watched both from the start until Fox fucked with the schedule so much. Especially Futurama. When it kept getting pre empted by NFL games it was a pain in the ass to know when it was even going to be on. When it was put back on I forgot about it and then it was on at like 7-7:30. I was never around to watch it.

I watched Futurama constistently from the debut show up until Fox started fucking with it and it became hard to figure out when it'd be airing. The same goes for Family Guy. Futurama failed more due to Fox screwing things up then folks not watching it. After all, it did have the highest rated debut for a Fox show.
